Therapeutic proteins – focus on analysis and formulations

Preliminary program including lectures topics is now available click here
The main purpose of the symposium is to review the state of the art of analytical tools and formulation concepts as applied to therapeutic proteins, and to highlight the needs of new innovative solutions for remaining problems.
Therapeutic proteins
Therapeutic proteins represent an area under rapid development. In fact, biologics globally dominate clinical trials and registrations of new pharmaceutical drugs. Large investments for research and development are currently being made in many countries. In Sweden, the government, the Wallenberg Foundation and several pharmaceutical companies have recently funded large research programs in the area. Therapeutic proteins are often developed for very serious and sometimes life-threatening illnesses like congenital genetic diseases, cancer and immunological disorders. The size and complexity of the molecules require development of new analytical techniques and formulation concepts that are often fundamentally different from those applied to conventional small molecular drugs.

Participant list
In connection with the course start, we usually distribute a participant list. Many participants request a list of participants in connection with education and we see networking as an important part of the competence development. With reference to this, we judge that as a participant you have that interest and the legal basis is therefore justified interest. The lists contain first and last names and organization. If you do not want your name and organization to be included on the participant list that is handed out, you email the responsible project administrator at the time of registration or otherwise as soon as possible. If you otherwise have questions regarding the list of participants, you are welcome to contact your responsible project administrator.
Participation fees
The participation fee for Industry and private company delegates is 5000 SEK and for Academy and authorities 4000 SEK. For those who are PhD students the fee is 2000 SEK.
Included in the fees are a digital abstract book, coffee, lunch and a symposium dinner
All prices are excluding VAT.
