Online Joint Meeting 2021 – in partnership with the DMDG

Following the success of the first meeting in Gothenburg in 2018, we intended to hold the second Joint Meeting between DMDG and the Swedish Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the same location. We have made every effort to do this, but the restrictions on travel and social distancing imposed by measures to combat the threat of Covid-19 mean that this event will now be held online.

We have developed a fantastic programme, which caters for the breadth of membership from both organisations. Although the present timings may need to be tweaked, the online meeting will lose nothing of the original content. We hope that you are inspired to join us and contribute an electronic poster at this year’s meeting, as well as contributing to the great discussion that the topics chosen will generate.

We are pleased to announce that our highly popular and entertaining debate returns this year. Steve Hood will be presiding as 'ringmaster' and will be trying to maintain a balanced yet lively debate on another topical issue.
Another highlight of the meeting will be the annual SPS 'Candlelight Lecture' to be given this year by Tommy B. Andersson.
